ECG

An Electrocardiogram (ECG) allows a view of the electrical rhythm of your heart. Performing these tests before high-risk procedures is standard as per NICE, (2016) Guidelines. This test allows the detection of abnormal heart rhythm, and potentially indicate to the clinicians if the patient is at risk of  irregular heart rhythms or a  Myocardial infarction (MI) and allow them to treat it prior to or manage during the procedure.
